Prairie State Energy LLC (PSE) is led by a team who possess an extraordinary amount of experience and expertise in all aspects of the oil industry. The two managing partners when coupled with our team have well over 80 years of industry experience between them. Our leadership team is knowledgeable of all aspects of the industry including; strategic analysis and planning, marketing, fuel distribution, gaming, brand selection, unbranded fueling, real estate, financing, and much more!
Managing Partner/President
Rick Mistretta is President of PSE, his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of PSE operations. Rick brings more than 30 years of Wholesale and Retail industry experience to his role. Prior to forming PSE, Rick co-founded the Ultimate Buying Team – a group of Amoco dealers that evolved to become the largest national buying club of its kind, with more than 10,000 retail members (Consolidated Buying Company). Rick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Corporate Communications (Organizational Culture, Advertising, and Public Relations). He concurrently serves on the Exxon/Mobil Branded Wholesaler National Council and the Executive Committee of the Illinois Fuel & Retail Association (IFRA).
Managing Partner/Member
Lewis Livermore is a Managing Partner/Member of PSE with nearly 20 years’ experience in the industry. Lewis has been personally responsible for the account management of hundreds of dealers throughout the country. He also has worked with numerous states, local governments, major national accounts, and oil companies. Lewis is a strong advocate for our customers and oversees the supply and logistics of PSE. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Dayton.
Controller
Jim joined our team in 2013 after working in public accounting for over a decade. As a CPA and controller, Jim has been instrumental in developing the tools, reports, analysis, and systems necessary to efficiently and profitably run our operations. Jim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.
Customer Support & Fuel Billing
Amie joined our team in early 2023. She brings over 25 years of customer service and billing experience. She enjoys solving problems and researching challenging questions. She has lived in Illinois her whole life and shares two children with her husband.
Finance and Accounting Specialist
Angela brings depth of experience specifically in P&L Management within the fuel industry. She equates her success due to her ability to build consensus among senior management while focusing on and contributing toward continuous process improvements. She has a Bachelors from DeVry University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
